One of our family’s favorite Easter traditions is to put flowers on an outdoor cross at our church. Each year on Easter morning, we bring our flowers and join with other church members in placing flowers on the cross. For me, it has special significance (resurrection Sunday, the cross and blooming flowers -are all reminders of new beginnings) and is a time of family tradition (we take a family picture in front of the flowering cross).
Another Easter memory is that of special books that I have enjoyed reading with our family over the years:
The Parable of the Lily
The Flowering Cross
Jesus is Alive
In conclusion, I wanted to share a great article on Celebrating Easter with Children.
What are some special ways your family makes Christ Connections during the time leading up to Easter or on Easter day?
