Daphne Youngblood divides her office hours and serves as missions support staff team member in both the Executive Office and in Sunday School/Small Group Ministries. Daphne began working in a Regional Office of the Georgia Baptist Convention in 1999 and moved to Dr. White’s office in 2009, then she began the shared time in Sunday School/Small Groups in 2012. Her husband, Marty Youngblood, also serves at as a consultant with the Georgia Baptist Convention.
Daphne has served in many roles and age groups from nursery to adults throughout the years. Everything from coordinating the nursery ministry, coordinating churches to feed in a college ministry, and VBS director, to teaching Sunday school. She has served in multiple churches and associations in these various roles.
Daphne is a native of South Carolina, but has been ministering in Georgia since 1998. Marty and Daphne were married in 1987 and have enjoyed ministering together through the years. They have one son finishing his freshman year at the University of North Georgia and he is planning to enlist in the army soon. Daphne enjoys horseback riding, cycling, kayaking, boating, cooking and fellowshipping with friends and family.
Daphne has earned an associate’s degree in Allied Health and has been certified with the Assistants of Georgia. In addition she has completed many hours of continued education focused on client and customer relations.
