New Crib Regulations The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has passed stricter mandatory standards for cribs. Beginning June 28, 2011, all cribs manufactured, sold, or resold in the U.S. must meet the new standards. Childcare facilities must use cribs compliant with the new standards by December 28, 2012.
